The typical flavors of Mexico City, come and enjoy them with us, in our 2 locations, we have the most representative dishes of Mexican fast food. Take your time and enjoy dining with us.
Take Out
Our dishes are ready for you to take home, in environmentally safe containers. Choose your favorite food and enjoy it in the comfort of your home. We also have sales per pound in some dishes. Check our menu.
Catering
You have an event and want to share your taste for the taco. We have a catering service with several packages for all budgets. Take us to your company, meeting, or any event that you want to eat the original street food of Mexico City.
Truck Food
Look for our food truck at public events, breweries, pubs or any event where we are inviting. If you see a green thing with wheels, for sure it is El Taco Riendo.

My go-to burrito location without a doubt. I was looking for a place that has a tasty, quality, solid value burrito,... and they fit the bill perfectly. Service is good no matter how you are deciding to order. I have eaten in-restaurant, ordered online, and over the phone, and the staff is always prompt and polite, and the wait is never unreasonable. Beyond the burritos the variety of options on the menu are great, and equally delicious.read more

Best place for basic street tacos! Been coming here for years and it's always good, the quality never dips. Enchiladas,... nachos, burritos, elote, it's all good. There are few places to get fancier tacos but I really feel like Taco Riendo is the peak for quality meets affordability.read more

Owner was going to cater our event but canceled on us. He wanted 50% deposit prior to us seeing a contract he wanted us... to sign. We asked to see the contract before paying the deposit. The contract he provided was different than what we discussed for the event so we asked for changes to the contract to reflect what had been agreed upon then he just canceled on us.read more

Chicken tastes odd. Items missing because they don’t give them with certain items ordered. Ask not to add certain... things and they added them anyways. Never ordered from them before and never will again. Called to discuss issues and got hung up on after being told I would get a call back and they don’t even have my number. Don’t recommend at all. Other similar restaurants NEVER do these things. Tried to give them a shot. NEVER AGAIN!read more

Absolute favorite taco place in Minneapolis. There's a good reason there's a line during peak meal times. Everything... tastes incredible and the staff are super nice. Definitely stop by anytime you're looking for food in Northeast!read more

Had 2 steak and 2 pastor tacos. Steak was on the dry side. The pastor tacos had better flavor, but not anything to... write home about. The tacos were made with corn tortillas, which is ok, but prefer flour. The nice part is they give you more options for filling on the tacos.read more

The only reason I'm giving this place three stars instead of one is because they used to have good service. I speak... fluent Spanish and English but these clowns do not understand either. Good food if you're patient enough to deal with the service.read more

Generous portions make this restaurant a true crowd-pleaser. The line can get long during peak hours but it moves very... quickly. We enjoyed that they had many different types of meats available with various seasoning. The chicken enchiladas were great.read more

I admire this spot! They provide superb dishes, their menu is varied, The cook in that place is very experienced, I... love a lot trying all their dishes. When this place opened up only blocks from my home, my husband and I immediately thought "well... time for tacos!"We... had been to the main location lots of times and absolutely loved it. However, having a location so close to our house allows us to get food from Taco Riendo much more frequently. Great tacos! I've added this to my regular taco restaurants that I visit often. When I'm in the area I stop in and get... 3 tacos to eat there and Alambres to take home. It lasts for several meals. I've liked all of the meat options I have tried so far. The staff is friendly and there are plenty of options to fit everyone's palate. The food is made fresh when you order it which takes a little while, but the wait is worth it. You also get to watch them make your food.Oh and they also have a foot long burrito, I haven't tried it but I've heard others excitedly ordering it.
